Day Students – Tilton School

Day Students

You’re not just a student—you’re a part of our family.

We pride ourselves on the seamless integration of day students into our community.

As a school, we seek to provide day students with every opportunity to immerse themselves in all aspects of the residential life experience, even providing day students with their own space to use in our dormitories. This provides a place to study, relax during downtime, store belongings, or change for athletics or formal evening events.
  • Dedicated adults. Teachers, coaches, advisors, and dorm parents ensure student engagement in classes, sports, and other activities, all week long.
  • All inclusive. Complete access to our 150-acre campus, just steps from shops, salons, and restaurants. Housing, meals, athletics, and social events—it’s all part of boarding school life.
  • Extensive programs. After classes, students pursue their own passions, through arts, clubs, and more than two dozen sports teams! Stages and studios, laboratories and workshops await!
  • Powerful preparation. Our unique, modern curriculum teaches essential skills across all aspects of campus life.
  • Dedicated college counseling. Personal attention means students identify and win acceptance at colleges that offer the best fit.
  • Top sports. Coaches drive athletic performance—and also teach lessons in leadership and teamwork.

NEW: Five-Day Boarding

Tilton is now offering five-day boarding for families. This program supports the opportunity to participate in a boarding community during the week while traveling home for family time on the weekends.

Five-day boarding is a great opportunity to encourage independence and growth in your child, without sacrificing quality time during their high school years.
