Mike Mayo ’81 ~ President
Mike Mayo ’81 was a three-year student involved in athletics, drama, and the athletic committee, and also participated in the Pfeiffer Wilderness program.
For the past 30 years, Mike has owned and operated MJR Staffing, a food service staffing agency in Boston.
Mike has three children—Will (Stonehill College ’24), Mikey (UNH ’26), and Alexa (UNH ’27)—and previously shared 30 wonderful years of marriage with his late wife, Mary.
Jenn Rand Staunton ’02 ~ Vice President and Co-Chair of Class Ambassadors
Jenn Staunton ’02, was a four-year student. While at Tilton Jenn participated in three seasons of sports, student government, theater, Winter Wilderness, served as a dorm proctor, admissions tour guide, and revived the Prom in her Junior year.
Her parents, Meg and Jon Rand were Tilton faculty for 18 years and her brother, Charlie was Class of 2005.
After attending the University of Vermont she started her 20 year career in non-profit fundraising in Chicago. She currently works as the Director of Development for an organization fighting hunger in rural Latin America.
Jenn lives in Burlington, VT with her husband, Norm, son Charley, and their two Labs, Rudder & Tugboat.
Marcia Batal-Rogers ’86, P’28 ~ Chair of Campus Experience
Marcia Batal-Rogers ’86, P’28 is the founder of Consulting for Excellence LLC and a global talent development and learning leader with more than 25 years of experience building stronger leaders, more engaged teams, and lasting business impact across industries including finance, insurance, and national defense.
She has partnered with executives at John Hancock, Liberty Mutual Insurance, and Mercury Systems, leading global talent development strategies that drive performance, connection, and belonging. Marcia is also certified in MBTI Mauritius, DiSC, and 360 feedback and is widely recognized for her ability to design and lead initiatives that strengthen culture and leadership at every level.
Marcia is deeply committed to enhancing the Tilton community and campus experience. Beyond her professional work, she has chaired community engagement initiatives at John Hancock, volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, and helped run a local soup kitchen. She and her family have deep roots in New Hampshire, where they love being part of the lakes and seacoast community.
Lowell Freedman ’97 ~ Co-Chair of Alumni Awards
A three-year senior at Tilton School, Lowell graduated in 1997 before attending Wheaton College, where he studied Theater and Political Science—fields that laid the foundation for his future work in storytelling and production. Lowell has maintained strong ties with Tilton and his classmates over the years, returning to campus as a guest faculty member in the Art Department, attending Alumni Weekends, and being inducted into Tilton’s Artist Hall of Fame in 2016.
Lowell is an accomplished film and television producer with over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. In 2002, Lowell returned to New York and began his career in the film industry, working on major Hollywood productions such as The Sopranos, Inside Man, We Own the Night, Baby Mama, Rescue Me, and Enchanted. His early experience on large-scale sets gave him a deep understanding of the production process from the inside out.
That same year, he co-founded Grand Street Media, an independent production company whose first client was the pop group NSYNC. In 2008, Lowell teamed up with college friend Jesse Guma to expand and grow the company’s reach.

Mark Hodgdon ’78, P’13 ~ Chair of Alumni Weekend
A post-graduate student and proud member of Tilton’s Class of 1978, Mark went on to earn his B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University and J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law. Before retiring, he built a distinguished career as Senior Assistant Attorney General and Bureau Chief at the New Hampshire Department of Justice, later opening his own practice.
Mark has long been an active member of the Tilton community, previously serving on the Alumni Council and as Vice President of the Parents Association. He’s also a proud Tilton parent to his daughter, Jaime, who graduated in 2013.
Madison Kirker ’20 ~ Co-Chair of Class Ambassadors
A proud member of Tilton School’s Class of 2020, Madison was deeply involved as a student—captaining the soccer team, competing in basketball and softball, and serving as Head Admissions Ambassador. Her leadership extended across campus as both Student Body President and Vice President.
Today, Madison is an Assistant Director of Admissions at Plymouth State University, where she helps students find their next step, just as Tilton once helped her find hers.
Madison has stayed closely connected to the Tilton community, celebrating her 5-year Reunion at Alumni Weekend 2025, serving on the Tilton Young Alumni Association, and speaking on alumni panels. Grateful to be a Masiello Family Scholar that made her Tilton experience possible, she’s passionate about giving back and helping others feel the same lifelong connection to Tilton that shaped her.
She recalls a moment that captures that spirit perfectly—walking through Charleston, SC her freshman year of college, wearing her Tilton basketball backpack, when a voice called out: “You go to Tilton?” That instant connection with fellow alum Dan Rimer ’01 reminded her that Tilton’s community stretches far beyond campus.
Now living in Concord, NH, Madison shares her home with her cat, Vader (named for her Star Wars obsession).
Eric O’Neil ’97 ~ Co-Chair of Alumni Awards
Eric has dedicated his career to teaching and inspiring young artists. For the past five years, he has taught traditional arts at Winnisquam Regional High School. A three-year senior at Tilton, Eric went on to attend the Maine College of Art & Design before beginning a teaching career that has spanned more than two decades—including seven years at St. Thomas More School in Connecticut and twelve years at Tilton, from 2008 to 2020.
In recognition of his artistic talent and impact, Eric was inducted into Tilton’s Artist Hall of Fame in 2017.
Eric lives with his wife and granddaughter on Hermit Lake in Sanbornton, New Hampshire. He says one of his greatest joys is watching his granddaughter grow into “an amazing little human.”
