Tilton’s girls’ varsity basketball team plays in one of the most challenging leagues in New England Prep School basketball, NEPSAC’s Class A. Each year Tilton is committed to building upon an already rich tradition of Tilton girls’ basketball—a tradition that includes winning 11 Lakes Region championships, including nine consecutive championships from 2010-2018, and seven New England Championships during the past 11 seasons. The program is based around hard-work, accountability, integrity, and selflessness. Players push each other to achieve their goals in the classroom and on the court.
In addition to team accomplishments, players have also found individual success, including 38 NEPSAC All-Stars in the past ten seasons. Further, 33 student-athletes have gone on to play collegiate basketball during the past ten seasons, including 16 players at the Division I level.

The girls JV basketball team is an integral component to the successful basketball program at Tilton School. The coaching staff works with players to develop the technical and individual playing skills necessary to compete at the varsity level.
Like their counterparts at the varsity level, Tilton girls’ JV basketball players are encouraged to work hard to develop the academic and life skills essential to success in college and in life including sportsmanship, cooperation, leadership, respect and personal responsibility.
