Ellissa Popoff

Ellissa joined Tilton School’s Social Science Department in the fall of 2016, bringing with her significant experience in independent schools. For the five years prior, Ellissa was a teacher, coach and residential staff advisor at nearby Brewster Academy. There, she taught Modern World History, AP European History, was a faculty mentor and weekend duty captain, hockey coach, and supervised the Global Action Club. She also spent two years at North Yarmouth Academy in Maine as an Assistant Athletic Director, coach and hockey camp director. A graduate of Tabor Academy, Williams College (bachelor’s degree in history and psychology) and Connecticut College (master’s degree in psychology), Ellissa is the Grade Level Leader for the 10th Grade, serves as an Administrator on Duty, teaches social science courses, and lives on campus.
