Meredith Gadd - Tilton School

Meredith Gadd

Meredith P. Gadd became the Director of College Counseling in July 2020 after serving Tilton School as the Associate Director for a year. Prior to joining the Tilton community, Ms. Gadd was a college counselor at Gould Academy. In addition to being the NCAA Liaison at Gould, she developed and oversaw the college curriculum for underclassmen, and was a member of the Advising Committee, ensuring that the school culture met the social-emotional needs of every student and their family.

Thus far, Ms. Gadd has committed her entire career to college counseling/admissions. Her first job out of college was in the admission office at the University of New England, where she traveled globally to college fairs and high schools and reviewed applications for highly selective medical programs. Ms. Gadd is devoted to providing families with the knowledge they need in order to find the right college match for each student. While at Great Bay Community College, Ms. Gadd worked with a diverse population from all stages of life, which was her professional entry into working with students whose access to higher education was adversely impacted.

Ms. Gadd is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), New England Association for College Admission Counseling (NEACAC), The College Board and the Association of College Counselors in Independent Schools (ACCIS). She is currently a member of the NEACAC professional development committee, supporting the careers of both college admissions and secondary school counselors.

Beyond College Counseling, Ms. Gadd is an avid skier, bike enthusiast, and mediocre runner, completing ten half marathons. She was a collegiate ski racer, and still loves to travel out west to explore new mountains with her family. Ms. Gadd lives on campus with her beloved dog, Isla Lucy, an Australian Labradoodle.
