A state-of-the art artificial turf field opened in October 2014 in honor of alumnus J. Christopher Burch ’72, Burch Field is home to Tilton’s field sports including soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse.
Adjacent to the turf fields are six tennis courts that opened in 2016.
The Charles E. Tilton Fields, located a short walk from our main campus includes a softball diamond, two baseball diamonds, a grass football field and three grass fields for soccer and other field sports.
The MacMorran Field House, located on campus, is home to Tilton’s 200×90 ice sheet and serves as the home for Tilton’s championship ice hockey program. The facility also includes offices, locker rooms, a skate sharpening room, a warming area for spectators, an elevated observation platform, and a snack bar.
Also known as the MARC, features both a college-sized basketball court and and a second, high school-sized court. A workout facility includes plate-loaded free weights and selectorized (nautilus-style) weight training machines. Cardio equipment of all types is available, and a workout room on the upper level is available to host floor workouts, yoga, and other group classes. The MARC also includes an Athletic Training Facility staffed by two certified athletic trainers (LATC), equipment room, multiple locker rooms, and a ski/cycling facility on the lower level. Lastly, the MARC includes a snack bar (Rusty’s Den) and recreational room including diversions like billiards, foosball, arcade games, and pingpong.
More like 50 (acres), the Back 40 is our little patch of wild, right on the edge of campus. It provides trails used for Cross Country, Mountain Biking, and other forms of recreation like running, snowshoeing, and more.
